FSO Board Meeting Minutes
September 17 , 2007 1:00-2:00 pm
-General FSO Meeting – No general membership present
Closed FSO Board Meeting called to order by Anne Lee at 1:00 pm. Those present were: Anne Lee, Jeri Thurman, Michelle Evans, Kim Johnson, Brandi Johnson, Rachelle Robertson Cheryl Stoner, Katie Allen, Robyn Macey, Lyndee Hudson.
Business:
Budget Report – Michele Evans
Please be specific on expense reports about what was purchased and which fund it is coming out of
Volunteer Hours – Rachelle Robertson
She will be passing around a paper at each FSO meeting for members to write down volunteer hours. Too many are not submitting hours
Committees
- Academic – Robyn Macey
Spelling Bee in March -
Hand out words within the next few weeks – then again in January
Geography Bee Dec 10th – 14th
Science Fair – Jan 29th –30th
1st Night K-3
2nd Night 4-8
Judges – trying not to use parents
- Artistic – Katie Allen
Story Telling Assembly – went well
Talent Show – Nov 7th
Robyn’s husband will paint the stage, Jeri will help move the stage to Robyn’s house
Reflections –Oct 26th
Deadline for entries Oct 16th
Theme “My Favorite Things’
Entries will be numbered - no names
Needs help finding judges
3. Red Ribbon Week – Oct 8th – Oct 11th
Kim has picked up all of the handouts – They look great!

Kickoff – 25 minutes Monday morning - Kim is contacting the police to see if they can be there.
Kim will get the letter on Emergency packet to Jeri
4. Bulletin Boards – Cheryl Stoner Look Great.
She’s getting some bigger Calendars to put up.
5. Newsletter – Katie Allen - Deadline for all information to be turned in is the 20th of September
6. Constitution Day –Today Sept 17th
Flag Cupcakes were great
Assembly – went well
7. Lunches – Some issues with too little pizza
Volunteers are going OK sometimes not enough
Will have drivers in October – Jeri and Kim have been doing it this month.
8. Room Mothers Tea – Was GREAT
9. Next Meeting Scheduled for October 15th, 1:30 in the library
