MY CLASS CORNER

Mrs. Emily Buttars

     The Ranches Academy has become my second family. This will be my third year teaching 4th grade and I absolutely love it! Students leave with more than an education. They leave with strong friendships, confidence, and a lot of school pride. The faculty really cares about each student and works hard to reach each child's potential. I love to teach and have found teaching children to be a very enjoyable and rewarding career. I feel it a privilege to spend time with children and watch them learn and grow.
      My family lives in Eagle Mountain and we love living in this small community. My husband Ryan and I, have two girls, Hannah (7), Abigail (4), and Isaac (2). We enjoy spending time together as a family. We love to be outdoors, hiking, camping, and riding four-wheelers.
      I know that it takes parents and teachers working together to make sure that each child succeeds. It is my goal to make sure that each child has a positive and enjoyable time in school. I look forward to working together as a team and I am confident that this school year will be a great success! Mrs. Buttars has a letter of authorization as she works on her ARL license. She will have a level 1 license and be highly qualified in the fall of 2011.
