Mr. Durran Fewkes

I am originally from Southern California, where I earned my bachelor's degree in Economics. I did some graduate work in Environmental Studies before deciding to get a teaching credential. I taught there for several years before moving to Utah 7 years ago. I have lived here in The Ranches for the last 6 years. I love it here and feel very lucky to be teaching children in my own community.

I am really looking forward to teaching 5th grade this year. I have taught many different grades and especially enjoy the upper grades. I enjoy the abilities, challenges, and wit that comes with the older elementary children. I know we are going to have a rewarding year and I am excited to get to know your children. I look forward to working as a team to create a positive learning environment as we prepare your children for Junior High School.

I have been married for 16 years and have 1 son and 3 daughters. I enjoy the outdoors, camping, motorcycle riding, and geocaching and beekeeping. I also like to read and watch movies even though I don’t see as many as I used to.
