Mrs. Dorothy Hunt

I am looking forward to teaching 1st grade this year. It's a big change for me from previously teaching sixth grade! I have taught most grades including kindergarten and 2nd grade and am therefore familiar with the younger age group. I know there will be new adventures, great learning, and lots of fun for myself and the children in the 1st grade!  I have taught for 15 years, and the last five have been at the Ranches. I love teaching here; the children and families are amazing!

We moved to the Ranches six years ago. My husband Larry and I are the parents of 9 children and have 20 grandchildren. Most of our children and all of our grandchildren live out of state. I love spending time with my family, watching movies, bike riding, and trying to grow plants, flowers and trees.

Two 24 pack crayons

Scisssors

4 glue sticks

12 pack pencils

Eraser caps

2 folders with pockets for homework

Water colors

Pencil box

1 box tissues
1 water bottle (marked with student name)

Paint shirt (old shirt of parent)

Thank you so much for you help. During the year the students will let you know if they need to replenish some of these items.

Please label all items including jackets and lunch box with the child's name.
