MY CLASS CORNER
Mrs. Angela Milton
Hello! I am Mrs. Angela Milton and
this is my fifth year teaching here at The Ranches Academy.
I love being part of this GREAT school and being able to work
with such AMAZING students and staff.
My husband Alan and I are the proud
parents of three children: Summer 19, Ashlee 9, and Ammon 6 months.
I am originally from Las Vegas and moved here to Utah to attend
college at BYU. I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology
and a Master's degree in Elementary Education.
I have a very unique teaching style
and a great love for the students that I teach. I must admit
that I am also a kid at heart and being silly with my students
is one of my most favorite things to do. I am also very academically
driven and I love to challenge my students to try new things
and be the best they can be. I feel that children need to
be praised to success and need to find joy in their own individual
strengths and talents. Allowing my students to BELIEVE in themselves
will bring them great satisfaction throughout their lives.
My favorite quote, by Ralph Waldo Emerson,
describes how I feel about success in life and in the classroom:
"To laugh often and much,
To win the respect of intelligent people
And the affection of children,
To earn the appreciation of Honest critics
And endure the betrayal of false friends.
To appreciate beauty,
To find the best in others,
To leave the world a bit better,
Whether by a healthy child,
A garden patch,
Or a redeemed social condition;
To know even one life
has breathed easier
because you have lived
THIS IS TO HAVE SUCCEEDED."
I look forward to the journey this
year with your child.
