Mr. McCord

I was born in Southern California.  In early childhood I moved to Connecticut and then to Washington State for my high school years.  After graduation, I attended college at BYU, Provo, where I earned my B.S. degree in Elementary Education and a Masters of Education degree in Educational Leadership.  I served a two-year mission for the LDS church in Taiwan, which gave me a great appreciation and love for the Chinese culture and language. 
 
I am the proud father of three wonderful sons, ages 16, 12, and 8.  Some of the things we enjoy doing together are playing (and coaching) sports, being outdoors, traveling to new places, and spending time with family. 
 
I have spent the last 15 years teaching in the state of Hawaii, which is where my wife, Sylvia is from.  While in Hawaii I earned a dual certification in Special Education.  I have taught preschool, second, third, fourth, and sixth grade.  
 
I am excited to be working with the students of The Ranches Academy.  I love seeing students achieve success in the educational setting and in their daily lives.  I look forward to the energy, creativity, and enthusiasm of my new students and to all we will accomplish in the upcoming months! born in Southern California. 3 expo fine tip dry erase markers with an eraser (can be a sock)

1 bottle (12oz.) of handsanitizer
